Self-understanding Is Wisdom of Compassion

Before talking about the wisdom of understanding, let's talk about self-understanding - something that seems easy but is extremely difficult, something that seems unimportant but is actually the most important in one's life.

"Until we understand ourselves, everything we perceive about the world, everything we see in someone else, is merely our own projection!"

"You may not understand anyone unless you first understand yourself!"

When we don't understand ourselves, we blame everything that happens in life or someone else. It is difficult for anyone to acknowledge that unpleasant events in their lives originate from themselves! However, as we gradually understand ourselves, we find that every difficulty or obstacle can be resolved using inner wisdom - the limitless wisdom hidden behind all of life's problems - if we approach it correctly. When we access this kind of wisdom, we don't need any external guidance or direction; then, one's life truly belongs to them!

When we don't understand ourselves, we view life through the narrow lens of judgmental thoughts and limited knowledge we have gathered and memorized. In that state, our assumptions and personal experiences lead us to mistakenly believe that our conclusions are the truth. At that moment, the essence of the issue is covered by a veil of fog. You officially drift away from the real truth. You remain in the illusions created by the mind to soothe yourself.

When we don't understand ourselves, every choice we make may not come from our true desires. Living within wrong choices makes our lives restless and incomplete. Understanding oneself is the fundamental basis of every decision, every choice, and it is a vast source of love and compassion for oneself!

Only by understanding ourselves can we be fully present in every moment. Understanding oneself is the foundation for understanding life.

The universe within us, if not thoroughly understood and cherished in all its hidden corners, cannot be generous towards humanity.

Only through understanding ourselves can we access the limitless wisdom of the universe, allowing us to see everything as it truly is.

Only by understanding ourselves can we have a pure perspective on all things. A neutral, loving view towards the myriad forms of life as they are.

Only when we love ourselves can we speak of love for what is outside of us. A person who cannot love themselves should not be trusted to teach or give love. Any love given through the mind is attached and temporary.

To achieve true love, compassionate love through wisdom, one must understand humanity by understanding oneself. Why does humanity suffer? Why does someone end up in such dire straits? Why do these things happen to us? Without the wisdom to see the truth in everything, we are only giving love that is false or blind.

A parent cannot properly teach their child without understanding them. A leader will be prone to impose without understanding their team. Teachers can only impart knowledge, not character, without understanding and loving their students. With understanding comes love. And to understand others, one must first understand oneself. If our "knowing" of someone lacks understanding, we will end up judging and labeling. There will be no love or wisdom in human relationships without inner wisdom.

Inner wisdom is always present, but it is hidden behind the mind. When our minds stop talking, inner wisdom shines brightly.

To stop the mind from talking - understand it!

Personality is the mind. Common behavior is the mind. Pain is the mind. Sadness is the mind. Judgment is the mind. Every situation that comes to us is due to the mind. Silencing the mind's voice stops all opportunities for problems to arise in our lives.

Understanding oneself at a subtle level is the way to move past all troubles and return to our true nature!

Understanding oneself to comprehend humanity, love oneself, and love humankind is the journey to touch compassion.

The wisdom of compassion is not the kind of emotion that pampers or clings. The wisdom of compassion is the profound understanding of life!

When compassion governs our perspective, our entire life will be filled with love. Be compassionate with yourself to be compassionate with life!
